USB4® 80Gb and Thunderbolt 5™ Transition

Over the next two years, pro computers will begin a transition to the latest version of USB4 signalling, supporting 80Gb raw bandwidth per USB4 and Thunderbolt 5 port. iodyne’s 40Gb cables are fully compatible with these new computers, but will operate at 40Gb speed. We will offer 80Gb cables in the future as part of our product roadmap to 80Gb technology: stay tuned.

Shorts

iodyne’s 0.3-meter Pro Cable comes in violet and fits in a small sleeve. It is a great option to daisy-chain multiple Pro Data units together without tangling the excess length of longer options.
 
1-meter is optimal for a comfortable desk setup where your drive and your laptop or desktop settle into their respective spots. It is also a good one to connect a small workgroup collaborating in close proximity, while connected to the same Pro Data. 

Longs

Longer 2-meter and 5-meter Pro Cables offer flexibility for bigger production teams, in larger spaces. Our customers seek out our long cables on film sets, live productions, virtual production lots, or on-location shoots where the DIT carts may have to be stationed away from the power source. Great for monitor extension.
